2D lines in orthoview

How do I get lines (i.e. fences, roads, etc) to show up in an orthoview with at least the apearance properties they have in the original?  When I'm doing it now, they just come over as a block on the 0 layer.

Go to: Project Setup/Ortho DWG Settings/Title Block and Display and click the 'Setup Title Block' button.  Then, select 'Ortho Settings' in the ribbon and map your layer properties or check 'Use 3D model layers'.
