1st timer question for structures

Hi all,

I'm new to Plant 3D and I'd like to use it to generate some 3D models. The problem that I'm having is that some commands are only coming in 2D while others work fine and are in 3D. Specifically, all the 3D pipes come in fine but when I want to use some structural commands they all come in 2D. Does anyone have any idea why this is? I have a Z direction but it still comes in 2D. See attached image. Are there any setup settings that I'm missing that need to be in set up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kev,

You need to change the visual setting for the Structural components. See images below. Looks as though image 1 is where you are at now. Image 2 shows where you more than likely want to be.
