is there any way of making hte tag text not scale with the symbol?

I have created a tank symbol which can scale on insert, however the tag scales with the symbol.

Does this happen for all Symbols or just the one? The tag is its own block that is inserted at the same time as the symbol. Have you looked into the scale of the Annotation in the Project Setup?

ive sorted it now, i wasnt adding any annotation i was just using the tag.
