The tools on the P&ID specific tool palettes will work only on the pnid drawing file types. You can create a pnid drawing files from the project manager by selecting the "P&ID Drawings" tree node under the project root node, and then right click select the "New Drawing" option.

AutoCAD P&ID will allow you to open a standard AutoCAD drawing. So if you open a drawing manually (even one created as an AutoCAD P&ID DWG) using the File -> Open command from the menu bar or application menu, it will attempt to open the drawing outside of the project and you'll see the warning message about the drawing not belonging to the project or "This tool is not supported in a non PNID drawing file"
To avoid this message use the "Copy Drawing to Project" command from within Project Manager to bring a drawing in and make it part of the current project.
Once the drawing is part of the project remember to open your P&ID drawings from the list in Project Manager to make sure you're opening the drawing as a part of the project.

I am using project Manager wizard to create a project. At the end of the project everything seems OK. ( databases etc..) Then when i try to draw something from the tool palette. Autocad P&ID warning me to save this drawing, so i save the project in dwg format. ( There is no another format to save in drop menu by format type) After that this warning always appears "This tool is not supported in a non PNID drawing file" This programme so complicated. Today i will try the CADWorx P&ID Professinonal. ![]()

Whenever a new pnid drawing gets added, the application adds some hint in the dwg file to indicate that it is a pnid drawing file. May be that logic is not working for some unknown reason.
Couple of options we can try:
1. In the "New DWG" dialog, specify a different dwt template file and see if that helps
2. Please post a sample pnid drawing file of the project and we can examine the hint in the dwg to see if that is set correctly.

Your workflow is correct. Both sline and P&ID tools in TP will work only for the pnid type dwg file.
In your case, slines are working as expected in the pnid dwg file, but for some reason, executing the tool from TP fails and reporting incorrectly that the dwg is not a pnid type file.
Both slines and tools from TP do the same check to find out if the file is a pnid type dwg file.
I am not sure how this check passes correctly for slines, and fails for tools in TP.
I am sorry I couldn’t help much here. :-(

It is solved.
There was a problem previous versions. Ribbon menu was not loaded. Solution was altering the "regional and language settings " to the US. With SP1, it was solved.
It turns out setting regional language "Turkish" causes this problem too. With the chance of this set, problem solved as he said.

Addition: It is also a bug, i believe SP will cure this too.
