Hello I am using Plant3D P&ID 2011,

I have a problem with Tag Annotation in different situations.

The first is that Tag anotation value disapears on screen, but when I go to edit the tag it automaticly appears. But then I save the drawing and sometimes I open drawing again and the problem appears again.

The second problem with Tags is that sometiemes I cannot define a value in a Line number, Plant P&ID do not anything, and trying it until the trird or fourth time, it gets the number i enter and then it works.

The third problem is that sometimes tags of different inline elements change its Line number independently of Line number where they are when I open drawing after saving it.

Anyone knows what could be the problem?

Hi,

The first things to try is to delete the local data cache by running the PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe. This utility is located in the install directory of the product.

Once you have done that you should audit the project.

Hello Dan,

After using the PnPLocalDataCachePurger.exe, Plant3D freezes on welcome screen and it doesn't works.

How can I solve it?

Hi,

I would not normally expect this to happen after running the utility.

Have you tried re-booting the machine? I have seen this from time to time on my machine and re-booting tends to fix it.

If that doesn't help let me know and I will provide some more suggestions.

Hi,

I have test the same procedure on anther computer with Plant and did not happen the Freezing error.

But now the problem of freezing welcome screen on the previous computer is the main problem.

Aslo I test in that computer with another windows user account and it works and the welcome screen doesn't freeze, but the normal user continues freezing.

Please give me a solution so now we are stopped.

Hi Dan,

I just solved user welcome screen freezing problem.

Meanwhile TAG anotation continous with problem but it is a random problem. I think huge problem is that it changes also the check valves direction automaticly when I reopen the drawing file.

I am working in a Local project.
