    Regenerate tag

    Hello everyone,

I have changed the formatting for my tags in P&ID and would like to regenerate the drawing to make them all refresh. Is there a way to do that currently?

    Thank you

Thank you for replay. I must be doing something wrong. I change Tag format (let say for Pipe Line Segments I want to add another subpart), click OK and nothing has changed. Even when I close and reopen the project. The Tag changed only when I double click on Annotation or Assign Tag again.

Yes, I did try to synchronize Annotations in Data Manager, but with the same result.

I added another subpart. But when I change existing subpart (for instance Class Properties) it is the same.

I know this is an old thread but I seem to be having the same problem with my AutoCAD. The tags aren't updating when formatting changes are done.

    Anyone have any Ideas?

There's no command to update all tags. You'll need to reassign tag again. Just right click an equipment, select Assign Tag. Then you should see the updated tag. You might want to try to use Data Manager, tag seems to be updated if you change some property.

You can also try the tool i have in my website (check my signature). Its free and you can batch update tags for all drawings.

Thanks for the response. I am aware of the "assign tag" method, but I have a large project and it seems like it would tag quite a bit of time. I'll give the data manager modification a shot and check out your website for that tool.

    Thanks!
