There's a new beta of P&ID (codename Harp) that's now available for
download. If you are interested in beta testing, please go to
http://myfeedback.autodesk.com to sign up. Use the beta code HarpBeta when
you sign up.

If you already have a beta user login, please modify your profile to add
Harp to the Beta code.

We're very interested in getting feedback from real users. It will help us
out a great deal to hear about your experience with our application before
it ships.

Dear Mr. Quinn,

May I know that AutoCAD P&ID has API functions to add graphical or non-graphical infomation to dumb P&ID?
We are a developer and have a translator from dumb AutoCAD P&ID to VPE P&ID (Vantage P&ID of AVEVA,UK) by replacing non-block symbol to block symbol by recognizing the symbols.
If we can know the API function, we can put the properties of symbols and line into AutoCAD database or external DB that can be read in AutoCAD P&ID.

There are API functions in AutoCAD P&ID, but I'm not sure they would help
with what you're doing.

How long does it take for a beta testing application to be processed? I submitted an application several days ago, and I've not heard anything back yet.

Kevin,

I check the beta forum daily and approve people. I see you on the list - I
think I approved you this morning. Please be aware that Beta 1 has been
suspended and Beta 2 will be posted in the next day or two.

Sounds like I should just wait until Beta 2 is released, yes?
