AutoCAD P&ID

I have attached an image of the way I am currently using notation for my hand switches.  I've been using \P operator to move the text down to the next line.  Recently in my project however the \P operator has not been working (see instrument bubble on top in image).  Any ideas of what could be causing this all of a sudden and what I can do to fix it?  Thanks

Which release of AutoCAD P&ID are you currently using for your project? Was the project upgraded from a previous release?
