I would like to know how to modify AutoCAD 2011 P & ID tags to display on two lines instead of the current default setting of one line.

Hi,

I guess you mean how to change the annotation that shows the tag? The tag itself i just a collection of fields, which you can recognize when you set the tag for a component.

I attached a small chapter (some basic stuff) that might help you to understand how an annotation can be created, hope that it points you in the right direction.
