Convert Cadworx P&ID to Plant 3D

When a Cadworx P&ID drawing is copied into the plant 3D project all of the equipment blocks and schematic lines are brought over as single lines and the intellegence is lost.
Is there any way to bring the Cadworx drawing in and keep the intelligence without having to manually convert all items on the drawing to a "P&ID object"?
The Cadworx P&ID drawings to be converted are quite complex and to have to manually convert each piece of equipment and the schematic lines will be quite time consuming.
Any advice will be most appreciated.

Currently, no there is not a way to convert CADWorx items. Can you post a drawing that has been copied into a project? I'm surprised at the comment "brought over as single lines and the intelligence is lost."
When you convert an object, AutoCAD P&ID essentially, wraps it up and calls in a P&ID object, so CADWorx will not be able to recognize the item any longer.Theoretically, you could explode the P&ID object, to get back to the CADWorx information.
