Say you have a four way valve, four piping connections like a cross. The pipe connected to ports at 0 and 180 are 3" while the pipe connected to ports 90 and 270 is 2". The data manager list the valve size as ? "multiple sources of information" is there a way to have two sizes shown without using a different line group?!?!
Thanks
Thanks

Sinner2009,
When I do it, I get the main line size showing up, not multiple. Your best
bet is to set up 2 addition size variable for the valve (like Size1, Size2)
and manually fill them in. In theory, you should be able to use the
propagation feature to automatically set them, but I was unable to tell it
to get other connections. It always gets the main one.

Yes that was the conclusion I came to also, our business however is 2, 3, 6, & 6 way valves(With two line sizes only). Normal inline valves are only utility. My users are not happy bunnies. Is this something that AutoDESK can look at. The valves are not line breakers, basically place the valve and bring the line too and from it but the real crunch is having the valve pick up two line sizes. We may have up to 300 of these valves on one P&ID so manually inputting a second size is a real pain.
Thanks
