Occasionally, you need to place a relief valve with the inlet horizontal and the discharge downward (i.e. to open drain). Draw a horizontal primary line, then turn downward. Now try to insert the relief valve. It will insert with the inlet coming from the downward line; the operator is oriented wrong. The work-around is to draw the primary line up, then horizontal, place the valve, rotate lines and valves, then move the results to where needed. Not exactly convenient. How can I correct the situation?
