If you make a "L" shaped pipe leg and want to switch the direction of the L, how can you do this?

You can mirror the leg. Are you trying to use the extend grip to move it? If
so, that will not work because it attempts to extend the line instead of
changing the position of the last vertex.

We are improving this behavior to determine intent when using the extend
grip to shorten or in this case change the direction of the last segment. In
the initial release, if I recall correctly, you can change the VGRIPS
variable temporarily to change the behavior of the extend grip. This will
not be needed in future version.
