Autonumbering off page connectors

Hello,

does anyone know how to change the project setup in order to create an OPC with an additional unique number corresponding with the connected OPC on another P&ID sheet. The number should automatically raise by 1.

Attached a screenshot of an OPC with the (example) number.

At the moment i only use 1 type OPC, so not an off page connector and an on page connector.

regards, Jan

Hi Jan,

I don't believe there is any easy way to do this outside of getting into the API.

I'm assuming that you'd want the unique number of one OPC to match the unique number of the OPC it is connected to. If that's the case, what I would do is to just create a numeric property in the OPC class called "ConnectorID", and then manually assign it to both affected page connectors. That's probably your best bet at this point.

I hope this helps!

Craig
