This Error started showing up when I insert unions and sometimes for page connectors. The only thing I can do is an "End Task" if you hit "OK" it immediately pops up again; or if you close it. Any thoughts?

I've had this happen after I created a new symbol that does not use end codes and used a block that had an end code orientation indicated in the attachment point name ie: AttachmentPoint1:EndCode0.
Go into Project Setup under Project Manager and Go down to P&ID DWG Settings-P&ID Class Definitions and find the symbol that is causing the problem. Once there click Edit Block in the right hand pane and check all the attachment points. If and have the EndCode modifier at the end remove them.
Only certain Classes use end codes and if you use EndCode on a symbol in a Class that doesn't use it you will get that error.
Yep, just ran into the same issue while testing some symbols. Don't add endcodes to symbols that don't use endcodes... it's just something you have to watch out for because the software doesn't have a way to give you a warning.
From what I can tell, just valves use EndCodes. It has to do with the orientation of the connection points when the object is rotated.
Equipment items shouldn't need EndCodes since they are typically endline symbol types.
If you go back in and remove the ":EndCode:xxx" value from the attachment points of your new symbols, that error message should go away when placing it from the tool palette. Just use "AttachmentPoint1", "AttachmentPoint2", etc.
Well this is nt true in my case .... I am facing this error even I have defined my End Points as AttachmentPoint1 & 2. Finally I have reinstalled the software ...hope for the best...!
Only the HandValves table has the EndConnections property defined.
Can you check the block for the offending type to see if the attachment point contains "EndCode" in the name? If so, please remove that. It only applies to hand valves.
If that isn't the case, please provide steps to reproduce. I will log a defect.
