AutoCAD P&ID 2012 Open drawing error

Hello, I just installed AutoCAD P&ID 2012 (64Bit, Win 7), while trying to open the sample drawing file: PIP-01-101.dwg

I get an AutoCAD Message Dialog box,  'An error occurred while attempting to open the following drawing'. This or any other drawing will not open after the program loads. I'm new to P&ID but not to Autodesk family of products, Any help to resolve this issue is greatly appreciated. Txs, --DZ

This probably has to do with using the Sample Project under the Administrator Windows profile. Before doing any further testing it is recommended you create new project on C: drive in order to not have the permissions limitation.

Ken,

Thanks for the response. Actually the reason was I was using a copy of the
student version of Acad P&ID. All .dwg files to be opened in Acad P&ID
Student version need to be open first and saved, else you get the error. I
do appreciate your response.

Thanks,
