AutoCAD P&ID 2012 (Not Responding) after selecting "project.xml"

This has happened a couple of times where only one of our designers is able to access a particular project, and nobody else can. What happens is, as soon as the "project.xml" file is selected from the Project Manager, AutoCAD P&ID locks up and is no longer responding. Task Manager has to be invoked to "End Task" in order to regain control. I've looked at all the XML files and I've even gone into the project properties of the project on the only workstation it doesn't lock up on, and still we can't get into the project. What's worse is the fact that the other designers were able to get into the project before. I've also looked for lock files, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary.

Any suggestions on how to remedy this would be HIGHLY appreciated.

Try running the local data cache purger application:
