When I insert weld symbols in autocad mechanical 2013 the welds automatically come in the color yellow. I Want to change the color to white or black but I can not figure out how to do that.

Hi

Colors are driven from Mechanical standards.  Find below steps;

Command: Amoptions >>AM Standards Tab>>Double click Weld Symbol and change the color as required.

Thanks

I tried that already and for some reason the actual symbols will not change. The leader and the text can be but not the actual weld symbol such as filet or slot or plug. I have attached a screen shot of what I see when I follow the steps that you told me to do.

Please find attached image.

You can change the color using AMoptions>>AMStandards>>Double click ANSI and change the symbol color.

Note: All Mechanical symbols will take the new color.

Thanks,
