Start Mechanical with no Drawing open?

    Hey all,

I would like to start Mechanical with nothing open. Currently it opens up with a default ansi template, but I would much rather have it open to just the blank screen (as if you had closed said ansi template).

    Is this possible?

    tks!

The only option i think of would be to type STARTUP in the command line of Mechanical and set the value to zero.

This would ask you what you would like to open. If that doesn't suit you, then you have to modify the acad.lsp file to add these changes. Here is an article that talks about it,

    Hope it helps.
