Does autocad Mechanical 2013 have any of the solid modeling or surfaceing functionality that the old (2009 or older) Mechanical Desktop had? OR is does it have the same surfacing and solid modeling commands that vanilla Autocad has?
Thanks!

Hi,
AutoCAD Mechanical now has the same modeling and surfacing funtionality as vanilla AutoCAD has. You just need to switch to 3D Modeling workspace then you can quickly use those funtions.
Unfortunately Mechanical Desktop has been retired. Now you can only install 2009 version based on your request. see the link below.
