AutoCAD Mech 2012 and 2013 corrupted files

    Hi,

I have 2 files attached that I can not recover within Autocad Mechanical. I have already tried on AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 and 2013, but both showed me the same issues:

"01505770 crash 19-04-2012.dwg" >> this file crashed AutoCAD imediately when openning

"01505770 CANNOT ADD DIMENSIONS AND COPYCLIP CONTENT.dwg" >> this file does not allow dimension creation, copyclip (CTRL+C) and I cannot correctly insert correct parts list with filter by part on some layouts.

Please someone could check this out?

    Thanks

    Dimitri

The file that you could not put any dimensions in was corrupt in the template.  Once I inserted it into a new template I was able to put dimensions.  The other file I was not able to recover.

    Thanks Matt,

Yes, it is an abnormal situation that I would like Autodesk to avoid. The software cannot crash if the file is corrupted and the commands should work even if it is corrupted. Specially if you see simpler applications like Intelicad opening these files and operating them without any problem.

I would like to hear from Autodesk if it is going to be fixed some day.
