AMTITLE and my block

Hello,

I am trying to use my title block in Mechanical 2010 or 2013.

I putted the block C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\AutoCAD Mechanical 2013\ACADM\Gen\Dwg

and i pick him while insert but he is offseted somehow. I am attaching the drawing.

What is wrong here?

Hi,

For title block, the default insert point is the origin point 0,0 . 

So you need to select the title block and go to block editor and select the title block, move the right bottom point to the origin 0,0 point and then save the block.

Is it possible to map Inventor iproperties like Name and Description to the title block of AcadM?

We need this in 2010 version of Mechanical.

Hi Dan,

In Inventor iProperties are equivalent to AutoCAD Drawing Properties (DWGPROPS). So you can find most properties available in Custom tab of dwg property dialog. And if you want to use them in title block, just insert a Block Attribute (ATTDEF) by inserting the field you want there.
