ACAD Mech Freezing at Weld Symbols and Leaders

'Morning everyone,

One of our stations is having issues freezing when the pointer is run over a weld symbol or a leader note. It just started happening out of the blue and is driving me batty.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Do anyone have a solution?

Hello Scott,

What operation system is the machine using? Which version of product was installed? Does it happen to any simple drawing with a welding or leader note symbol?

It was running on a windows XP machine 32 bit, AutoCAD Mech 2010.

It was happening on any simple, random drawing with a leader or BofM.

We had noticed that the machine was not running service pack 2 (which should have been installed with the installation), so we installed and ran the service pack.

The user said this did NOT solve the problem, but when IT and the Lead Detailer came to have another look, the user could not replicate the problem.

So it appears that the issue is resolved. Thank you for your time and your reply Michael.
