service pack4 - no more previews

I been away from Autocad for about 8 months and so I updated my software and install service pack 4 and now I no long have the ability to see drawing thumbnails in the "open drawings" dialog box or from the browse menu with any drawing that's been opened and saved with the new service pack. Drawings created with previous service packs still show previews. Can someone help me?

Can you elaborate a little? Service Pack 4 of what? AutoCAD & windows XP
only have SP 1, and windows 2000 has SP3...

I'm using Win98se with all the lasted updates and Autocad Mechanical 6 with SP4

SP4 for autocad is the update. Also today while working I've noticed that the problem only occurs when I open multiple drawings in a session. If I open only 1 drawing and save out before opening a second drawing the problem is fixed and I get a preview image again. I often have multiple drawings open in a session so this is still a problem for me.
