drawing specific aspect ratio

Is there a drawing specific setting that would cause the aspect ratio to change? My co-workers drawings have circles that are ovals and even blocks when rotated 90 deg. will stretch or shrink. This will carry over to my computer if I open one of his files so I don't see how it could be a display setting on his monitor. If he opens my drawings everything appears as it should. It is only in drawings that he creates. Any suggestions?

1. Someone used the FREE ORBIT on the view or rotated it in some manner.

2. Or maybe the UCS has been changed.

-1. Select one of the preset views to orientate the view to a known location. e.g. TOP, FRONT etc.

-2. Type in UCS. Select W for World. Type in PLAN. Select CURRENT.
