content library display problem no text

we currently use AC 2012 Mech.

when selecting from the menu content/fasteners/screws and then opening the countersunk head types, many users will see what is dispalyed in the attachment good picture.png... the type of screw is displayed (we can see the text)...

while other users selecting the same prompts from the menu will see what is displayed in the attachment

bad picture.png... the text is NOT displayed...

how do we fix the bad picture users?

this occurs for many different types of content, not just the fasterners/screws...

any help will be much appreciated../bruce k

Hello Bruce,

In the content library, can you insert those content correctly even without the text being displayed? I am wondering have you done some customization on the content library in the machine?

Thanks.

Yes, we can insert the objects correctly into the dwg files and we have
not done any customization on the content explorer/library...

For some people it works fine (that is we can see the text)... we
beliwve it to be a font issue because only the letters and numbers do no
show, as you can see the - (dashes) and (()) (parentheses) appear....

thanks

This looks strange to me. Maybe the content library has some problems to read files from content mld files but since they are complicated, it's not straightforward to tell which one happen to be the problem. If possible, maybe you can do a re-install to see if the issue goes away.

Thanks.

Many thanks for looking into this problem.. Actually, we did an install
of AC and the problem remained... Could there be something in the
registry that is causing this?
