Unable to unfold sheet metal part imported from Solidworks

Hi there,

Im trying to unfold the sheet metal part imported from Solidworks.  But it  doesnt work. Is there any trick or ssetting which needs to be adjusted when importing?

See the file in attachment.

Also is it there a way to save the part in older version of Inventor (2012) for client who doesnt have Inventor 2014? I dont see that option when using SAVE  or SAVE AS command.

Thanks.

AcadMech doesn't have that feature but you may try in the Inventor forums here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Inventor-General/bd-p/78

Actually that was ment to be posted under Inventor forums.  Opps. Sorry Im not finding this forum very user friendly, but maybe I just need to use it more often.

I have found the solution in here:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Inventor-General/inventor-2012-Unfold-sheet-metal/m-p/4984208#M506033

It was not caused by incorrect importing proccess but the thickness measurement discrepancy when setting sheet metal defaults.

Im kindly asking the administrator of this forum to move this topic under appropriate Forum Folder Inventor As I accidently posted it under Autocad Mechanical.
