Power View Problems

I'm in Mech2006
I have the Top View of My Design Done..
Now i'm making Side Views of the Parts..
But Power View is acting goofy..
The Length of the Side Views are Always Wrong..
Example:
I have a Thru Hole.. In top View.
I Select it.. Right click.. and select Power View..
Then the Line shows Up for Placement..
I click on the Start and End of the Side View..
But when it's done.. The Side View of the Hole is Always .500 short... So I have to Delet the Top View and Place another one.. Then Repeat and It'll Work..
It Does this For All Holes.. Except Blind Tapped..
And it's Always .500 Short...
It does Not Matter How Thick or thin the Side View is..
Or what size the hole, Cbore , Csink is..
Nor does it matter which direction i select the start and end of the side view..
It's Always .500 Short..
What's going on?
Thanks

Hi,

I could not reproduce your problem.

Could you provide some more detailed info like :
- how did you insert the start and end point of the side view? using OSNAP?
or give a specific length of hole to be inserted?
- how did you measure the mismatch of 0.500?
- what template are you using? and are you using an old drawing from
previous release or are the holes created in ACM 2006 itself?

If you may, can you attach a simple drawing to illustrate your problem?

thank you,

It does not Do It ALL the time..
Here is a Screen of it...
How i do it..
First I made the Top View
Then I drew the Side View..
I put a Hor Construction Line on the Top View..
Selected the Hole.. Then Selected Power View..
Then I Used Intersection Snap For the Start and End points of the side View..
The cad File.. It was "Start From Scratch" in 2006
More info:.. Some of the Holes are Copied (In top View) .. Rather than Going thru the Dialog again..
And when I finish Copy the top view of Holes.. It askes.. New or Existing.. I always Select New.. So the Hole Has it's own Entry in the Browser..
The workaround... I delete the Top view and Replace it...
Then it will Work...
It seems to Only do it to Holes that are Copied...
