Trying to figure out a plotting issue with a cowork of mine: when he plots drawings, nearly all colors appear very faint on the plot (except for black, which is slightly grayed) - some colors are hardly even legible. When I plot the same drawing, everything plots fine. I tried copying over his plot styles with my own, which oddly appears to have improved some of the colors, but not others. For example, color 104, an off green, still is hardly legible on his plots, while mine are fine.
What are all the variables that control how lines appear on a plot? Is it just lineweight? Why would the same plot style produce different results between two computers?
Thanks,
Tim
Please confirm that PLOT WITH PLOT STYLES option in PLOT dialog box is checked. If you can not find this option, please click at the MORE OPTIONS button in low-right corner to expand the dialog box.

Thanks for your reply....
We discovered the problem being that the Plot dialog box does not automatically select the "Plot object lineweights" option, even if the "Plot with plot styles" option is selected. We had to unselect "Plot with plot styles" and then reselect it and then both would show they were selected.
"Plot object lineweights" NOT selected by default
"Plot object lineweights" is now selected, only AFTER having to uncheck "Plot with plot styles" and then check it again:
Thanks,
Tim
Thank you for letting us know that the problem is resolved. Yes, Plot Object Lineweight some times does not get checked with Plot With Plot Styles option when Plot With Plot Styles option is not manually checked but enabled when you select a plot style table from PLOT STYLE TABLE drop box. In AutoCAD 2012, Plot Object Lineweight and Plot With Plot Styles become 2 independant options.
