Mechanical 2014 - 3D Mesh

Has any one have problems when you MESH four sides with one having a 2 inch arc radius, to where it does not fill the full 2 inch radius??  The radius on the MESH does not follow the 2 inch radius contour.  The MESH radius is drawn short by about 20% of the full 2 inch arc radius.  Thanks.

Please clarify your question by posting your files, a screenshot or whatever and being more specific on the matter of "problemns". 🙂

Attached are a PDF plot of the Mesh not extending out to the contour line, and the test drawing with new information.  Drawing shows three orange arrows where the blue mesh does not connect to the 2" radius.  The question is there a setting or to change the mesh resolution so it will fill into the radius??  Thank You.

RE: Attached PDF Plot & DWG of the Mesh

Hello acwtzwegers (Mentor),

Thank you for the response. New question is there a setting or change with
Mesh the resolution

to have the Mesh edge it extend out to the radius line?? The attached PDF
plot shows the Blue

Mesh edge (next to the orange arrow) short of the 2" radius. Plus the upper
two 2.25" radius at

upper end the mesh again is short of the contour line.

I tried using the Loft command and it was close to working, but on the upper
left radius it was

not a smooth transition from the outer 48" radius into the 2.25" radius.

Thank you for tour time.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

If you try to set the two variables SURFTAB1 and SURFTAB2 both to a value bigger than 6 (I have tried with 20) and recreate the mesh, you should be able to see a better approximation to your profiles. Try and let me know if it works for you.

In attachment the mesh with surftab set on 20

Thanks
