Lost AutoCAD Mechanical commands

I have AutoCad Mechanical 2010. It was crashing occasionally (probably my graphics card). When autocad crashes, it wants you to send the info to autodesk. I did that and it said there was a patch for my problem. After the patch installation, I do not have any mechanical commands. I did the demandload without success. I need specific instruction on what to do. Don't just say open CUI because I don't know how that works. Please help.csmith@fusion-etc.com 920 664-1542 Carol A. Smith

Hello,

Have you tried to "initialise" Autocad profil ?

Close your Autocad application

You need to open the regedit command into windows - start menu - run

Go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\Autocad and delete the R1X Directory. For example, I've Autocad 2010. I need to delete the R18.0 Directory.

Start Autocad again.

Rather you do not do that... but just replace the \acad.exe in your shortcuts with

\acad.exe" /p <<ACADMPP>> /product ACADM /language "en-US"

Or in any case it sounds like you just unloaded the Mechanical profile.
