Help animations stick (and other interface trouble) :(

In AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 (SP1) on Windows 7 Pro (64bit)

When you mouse-over on a ribbon button, you first get a short description (help) and then an animation running... Very cool, quite handy and all that... but as the attached picture shows: the animation sticks around after that... even in other programs then AutoCAD.

This is just one of the interface problems this version seems to have... Others are:

- The big red A in the top left corner is way too slow to react. Resulting second (or 3rd or 4th...) try to get it to do something will result in the application closing because it suddenly does react and then interprets it as a double click. as a result all functionality behind the big red A is basically inaccessable and you end up typing dwgprops, publish etc in the commandline or sticking everything in the "quick access toolbar"

- The (grey) navigation bar on the right blocks the -[]X that should allow you to minimize, maximize or close the file when you do not have a viewcube. If you want to switch that viewcube on via the navigation bar, the commandbar will show you all sorts of "ON" etc... but often it will not actually appear (you'll need to use NAVVCUBE and be lucky)

Any ideas on fixes? Or even reassurance that it will be fixed in the 2013 version? The problems seem not even really CAD related - more a result of going with the ribbon interface (no, switching the ribbon off doesn't fix them either).
