Drawing border - change LTSCALE value based on border scale

We do all our dwgs in modelspace...yes, I know...

So, we are using the ACAD supplied drawing border. It's working fairly well except for the LTSCALE. The LTSCALE changes based on the drawing border scale, but it is incorrect. We are constantly having to edit the ltscale on the dwgs. It appears to be off by a value of 10. For example, if it's set to 2, 20 is correct, If it's set to 4, 40 is correct.

How do I go about editing the LTSCALE that is hardcoded into the drawing border?

Thank you!

Hi,

If I understand your issue correctly, you've seen 10 times difference in LTSCALE when you set border scale.

I tried your steps in my side.

a. if your drawing border is set to 1:20, then LTSCALE is 20.

b. if it's set to 1:50, then it's 50.

Can you try AMRESCALE or AMSYMSCALE to reset the scale? Any change?

Thanks.

AMRESCALE and AMSYMSCALE didn't do anything.

So again I ask how do I change the ltscale based on the border scale?

Sorry, I don't know there is a way to do it based on drawing border.

But you can override the LTSCALE or CELTSCALE by doing it in Linetype Manager.

Thanks.

You're not sure, or you're positive there isn't?

Please check and get back to me if you can. Thanks

Michael,

I'm sorry but I'm a bit puzzled by your replies.

You've not definitively said "NO, it does not have tht option" or "YES, it does have this option". You "believe" that it doesn't or "You don't know". How about this....

Please check with someone that DOES know, without a doubt, if this does or doesn't have the function. I would like a definitive, concrete, absolute answer. Surely someone must have one?
