Detail View Object visiblity

We use the mechanical detail view feature.   Currently we have drawings that objects in the view area do not show up in the detail.    These object include mtext, dtext, dimensions, sectioning details.    The details of the view  are simple flat 2D objects.   Scaling works.   I can edit the details including new lines and circles without issue.  I can add and remove the detail border and connecting line.

I will attach a sample drawing.   I have created new objects and detail from a our drawing.  I have found that it does this in both our 2010 version and 2012 versions of Mechanical.

Thanks for any direction about this.

This should be as designed. We filter out the annotation objects during creating the detail view. Normally the detail view is required when there is no space to annotate a feature like dimensioning an undercut of shaft. From this point, developer recommends the user to add dimension and MTEXT on the detail view after the detail view creation.
