Deleting faces in AutoCAD Mechanical 2013

On AutoCAD 2013 Mechanical when deleting faces, if I choose to remove faces from my selection it doesn't regenerate my display and keeps all faces dotted rather than showing me the faces I select. Is there a setting to fix this or is it a common issue with 2013?

What is your REGENMODE setting set to? It should be set to 1 (not 0).
