Copy & Paste suddenly quit

I have an Autocad Mech 2013 user that is experiencing issues with copy & paste.  It will work for a period of time then suddenly stop.  The drawing is checked out of Vault (2013 pro) on Windows 7, Mechanical 2013.  We opened word, and did a copy & paste test there, and it still works.  It just stopped in this drawing only.  He has experienced this before and it appears to be drawing specific - he can open another drawing and it works.  It just stops in one particular drawing.  Any ideas what would cause this?

Probably a corrupt file. Do an audit to see if that "fixes" anything which might effect the copy and paste command. Then maybe a recover.

If all else fails you might try creating a Wblock of the drawing objects into a clean template and to see if that fixes the problem.

That appears to be the case (corrupt file).  This is the only dwg this happens to.  We will give this a shot.
