AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 Grid Display Settings and contentlib.xml file

Does anyone know how to keep the grid display turned off when opening up the program each time?  I just went from AutoCAD Mechanicl 2010 on a Windows XP 32 bit OS to AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 on a Windos 7 64 bit OS.  Everytime i open AutoCAD the grid disply is on....it wont stay turned off.  Also everytime i start up AutoCAD i get this error message sying it can't find the "contentlib.xml" file in the location under Document and settings.....\Gdb.  it is looking for the 2011 version of this file.  I t already has the 2012 version of this file.  Does anyone know how to direct it to look at the 2012 version and ignore the 2011.  I have never had earlier versions of AutoCAD intalled on this machine, so don't know why it is looking for and older file.

The grid is controlled through your template file (.DWT).  If you open up your template file and turn the grid off and then save the template file the next time you launch that template the grid will be off.

Hi,

You may modify the contentlib.xml location using following steps:

1. Command amcontentmanager

2. Click on File Locations Button

3. Click the ... button and point to the default location shown in the attached image.

4. Click Save and Close button

5. Close AutoCAD Mechanical and Relaunch and verify the issue.

Thanks,
