Adding content library geometry without part reference

Hi,

Is it possible to add content library geometry without adding the part reference? I would like setup the library so that it is not necessary to go back and remove the part reference after adding the geometry. Exluce from part list is one option but would it be even possible to ignore the part reference totally?

Used version is AutoCAD Mechanical 2012.

Hello,

As far as I know the part reference is added by default even if you don't define it for custom content.

May I know the reason why you don't want it to have part reference? Have you tried using dynamic block instead?

Thanks.

When a part is published to content library, a partref is automatically created and this is by design.

The possible options you may use are any of the following:

a. Exclude from Partlist

b. ADCenter (As blocks)

c. Amlibrary (As blocks)
