ACAD 2014 mechanical deployment issue - why can not open ACAD 2014 only

We have a deployment image setup on the server

Deployment is smooth

PC get installed with full suite of ACAD 2014 Mechanical - English, a folder in Start menu properly created

We seldom use Mechanical, so from version 2009 people just click AutoCAD instead of AutoCAD Mechanical to get started.

in 2014 folder, we also saw same, one AutoCAD icon, one Mechanical icon.

Click AutoCAD icon, the correct AutoCAD splash window starts(we know that is correct, because we click Mechanical a different splash window will apear stating it is mechanical). But when application acutally launched, the title menu showed it was Mechanical 2014, and the workspaces were Mechanical Classic, Mechanical, etc..and all the menu showed Mechanical style. In the Help menu it showed the version was correct, AutoCAD only. In Mechanical, the Help/About will show it is AutoCAD Mechanical

So I do not understand why the splash and help/about all showed AutoCAD only, why it is still all Mechanical. We really just need the point product of ACAD 2014...unless something is changed in 2014??

Thanks,

Hi,

Did you launch the product from start menu or shortcut in the desktop? Then what is the target field of the Properties of the shortcut?

Thanks.
