I am running ACAD 2013 on a hp ENVY notebook pc. I am using a USB to parallel cable to go to the hp Designjet 650C printer. Tried to load the latest HP Designjet Windows system printer driver but when I click on download there is no Windows 8 to pick and the download fails. Tried to plot with the standard Windows drivers but nothing happens and the job shows "Canceled." I also tried selecting other usb ports, com ports and lpt ports but nothing works. The printer runs just fine with my other notebook running Windows XP. What am I doing wrong?
