2012 Mech Polar Array

Can anyone answer this question. I was upgraded to 2012 Mech from 2009 mech. When I use the polar array function, I pick my geometry, pick my center point ,every thing works fine to here, but when I try to enter the number of copies I need it doesn't allow any number to be entered, it always go back to the default of 4.

Hi,

I wanted to let you know that Autodesk is aware of this behavior and we are working towards a long term resolution.
I can offer the following work arounds:

  1. Place the array with the default value and then modify the total items after the fact.
  2. Dynamically add items by dragging the cursor across the screen.
  3. Use the Arrayclassic command. You can type this at the command line. You will then have the legacy Array dialog availble to work with. Note that you need AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop 2012 Service Pack installed.

I hope this helps. Cheers!
Volker

Weird, QA, no automation test case for this scenario?
