Hi,
is there any way to work with string file (.str) from autocad map 3d?any fdo provider support this type of format data?

Not directly, I think. You might look at Safe to see if they have it listed: http://www.safe.com/fme/format-search/ . Otherwise, exporting from the source in a more common format will be the best option.

Hi,
thx for the reply..
actually this string file (.str) is created from the software called GEMCOM SURPAC.
i think you are right, i guess the best way to read this format in map 3d is to convert it to common format.
