Hi There,
I'm using mapimport to bring in xyz points and they have come in ok, except that they are flipped horizontally.
(they come in as a block)
Any ideas on how to flip them back?
Perhaps there is a command that rotates objects all at one time *not* based on one central point..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

does flipped mean 180 degrees on y axis? as in your x values are negative instead of positive or vice versa?

I have not yet tried inserting a negative sign in the CSV file. I'll try it in the morning.

Hi,
then I guess that your columns for X and Y have to be changed.

You might just need to change the sign on the X values. If you are in the western hemisphere, sometimes a GPS will record the X value as positve, and indicate otherwise that is it W, but a LL or similar CS in Map will expect -42 for example, not 42 and a W in a separate column.

I did get it working ok, now just need to figure out why only portions of the data are completely off. That's a question for a different forum though.
