Win 7 with XP mode compatability

I understand from the Autodesk compatability page
     (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=14014492&linkID=9240857)
that Map 3D and Raster Design 2009 are not Win 7 compatable. But MS has released an "XP Mode" virtual machine add on
    ( http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/windows-xp-mode.aspx).

Does anyone know if they work with this running?

    Thanks.

Some have reported that they do but beware not all features may work especially with connecting with other applications. So it all depends on just how far or how much of MAP3D you use. My personal opinion is why update the OS if you don't update the software to run with it. It's like getting a new car but putting the same old floor mats and seat covers from the old car in it.

Have you tried just running it in Windows 7?

Autodesk's compatibility page only lists systems they've actually tested the software on.  But most software that works on Vista will also work on Win 7.
