    Nation Map Seamless Viewer help

I downloaded and unzipped the files and I've assigned a Zone.

How do I get the aerial into Civil 3D 2013?

    Hi,

what type of files have you downloaded?

If they are standard GIS-files then you would have the option:

    • command _MAPCONNECT
    • or if it's raster-images I would preferre the usage of _MAPIINSERT.

    Hi,

I wrote that you can use _MAPIINSERT for raster-images, well, I meant colorized raster images), sorry for beeing not clear enough.

    Within your list I see:

    • SHP that can be connected with command: _MAPCONNECT (btw: delete the IDX-file before referencing the SHP into your Map3D-session).
    • ADF, also this can be connected with _MAPCONNECT (it's raster, yes, but not colorized raster, it's a type of elevation-model). You can look to >>>this page<<< for how to use it.
    • I don't know what's behind DAT or DIR or NIT, but the others have no direct data, just info like projection-systems, index-file, ...
