Hi Map users,
When creating topology in Map 5 the software always "remmembered" all
settings if for some reason the proccess could not be completed
(clean-up...).
Now, in Map 6 the new interface looks very nice and NEW, but this very
important feature seems to have dissapeared.
Am I doing something wrong? Or was that feature taken away from us?

Hello Arad,
With Autodesk Map 6, everytime you create a topology you'll have to
re-specify your settings (except for error markers). I understand how this
could be a pain point, but I'm sure you find topology creation a lot easier
with the new GUI.
Something gained, something lost...

What a load of (edited) Again, Autodesk fixes something that wasn't broken. In
the old dialog, everything was there on one page. Now you've got to go
through multiple pages and do it on every attempt.
When cleaning up topologies, we have to go through the process MANY times to
fix all the errors and this new GUI gets old real fast.
As for your flip answer, Mark, I wish you had to make a living using the
software. You'd change your tune.

The loss of the parameters after a failed topology has been logged as a bug
against Map 6. It certainly wasn't an attempt to 'fix something that wasn't
broken'.
One thing to note which you probably know aleady; in some cases you can skip
the 'pages' of the dialog box without having to re-enter or even visit the
page. If you know which layers contain your links, nodes, and centroids,
perhaps you could freeze the other layers so that you don't need to reselect
those items through the UI time and again.
