Can I transfer my license back and forth from my laptop (32bit) and my work station (64bit) using the license transfer utility?

Better question - Are you on Subscription?
If so, you can have 1 license for your "Work" workstation and request "home use" for your laptop....
Look in your subscription center / talk to your reseller for details.

True. You should just activate both as the EULA allows for exactly what you are asking. Forget the LTU as it is problematic.
