AutoCAD Map 3D

Hi.  I just installed AutoDesk Map 2004 on my Windows 7 (32 bit) machine.  Entering commands freezes the program.  I can zoom but then entering another command locks up the program.  Any advice?

Reinstall Map2004 in "XP mode" under Win7, and try again: if it fails, that could be an hardware issue, sir.
