AutoCAD Map 3D

I just upgraded my entire department to 2013 from 2008.  We can no longer import aeruial images from Google Earth, publish KMLs or export generic Microstation design files (we have to choose from V7 & V8.) 

I can't beleive this "upgrade" actually downgraded our functionality as a department.  We can no longer provide sevices to those requiring these file formats and will be forced to discontinue the use of CAD for many of our projects.

Anyone there at Autodesk care to help?????!?!?

In office automation world, before buying ANYTHING, you MUST test it: that's why Autodesk offers 30-day trial period for free...

I'd like to inform you that we've made available Kml Publisher for AutoCAD 2013 that does exactly this. Publish drawing objects (or whole) from AutoCAD 2013 to Google Earth.

However, if you decide to sell it, we shall reveal how exporting vectors to GE in other ways...

There's going to be a free version. Please don't reveal the secret... Anyway, everybody (including me) in here would be happy for other ways and if they're better either we'll frustratedly stop producing our products or, hopefully, make them better.

re export to MicroStation, replying as an experienced MicroStation user, you were probably exporting to V7 files anyway, V8 format appeared in 2004 and is much more compatible with AutoCAD. I am surprised that R2008 did not offer you the option. Unlike AutoCAD, this is the only file format change that MicroStation has made in over 15 years.
