Hi,
I work with Autodesk Map 3D and I was wondering if the latter provides a bar scale that will adjust automatically to the size of the plotting paper.
Thanks a million!

Not currently.
I have had to build one useing the Field comand linked to the viewport. The scale itself remains static, but the numbers change.
This is also linked to the scale at the bottom if you are useing A-cad 2008,09,or 10.

Hi,
I am trying to create an adjustable Bar Scale using the field command, as advised by Soocom1 above.
I chose 1"= #' from the field menu. It gave me the following: 1" = .2154' .
In the field expression box, I got the following:
%<\AcVar.16.2 PlotScale \f "1\" = %lu2%zs12%ct9[0.0833333333333333]'">%
The Edit Scale List is set to 1"=1" where 1' of paper is equal to 0.08333333 drawing feet.
Where does the number 0.2154 come from?
Thanks a million!
